Please use the guidelines below to prepare for the session.
Set yourself up for deep healing!

Please arrive fresh and clean. A quick shower on the day and clean clothes can really help you feel more relaxed and grounded.

Avoid having to rush to the session. Leave enough time.

Avoid caffeine or stimulants (coffee, energy drinks, etc.) for at least 4 hours beforehand. Give your nervous system space to settle.

Skip alcohol and recreational substances the night before and day of your session.

Eat light. A heavy meal right before can make it harder to relax.

Hydrate well throughout the day. Energy moves more freely in a well-watered system.

Dress comfortably. Loose, cosy clothing is ideal.

Arrive with openness. You don’t need to do anything during Reiki, just receive.

Please do not bring your pet or children. This time is just for you.

Switch your phone completely off or on airplane mode before entering the space.

During the Session

You’ll be lying down fully clothed, with a blanket if you’d like.

You can close your eyes and simply rest. Some people fall asleep, some experience visuals, some just feel calm, all are perfect.

If anything feels uncomfortable, just let me know. You’re in safe hands.

After the Session

Don’t rush off. Give yourself 10–15 minutes to ground after the session.

Avoid overstimulating environments right after (e.g. intense exercise, loud crowds, screen time).

Be gentle with yourself. Rest, reflect, or journal if you feel called to.

Drink plenty of water and notice how you feel over the next few days.
