Fibromyalgia
While I help clients with a variety of problems, Fibromyalgia is my niche.
Many people still question if Fibromyalgia is bogus.
Fibromyalgia is a real condition.

Fibromyalgia is a disorder characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain accompanied by fatigue, sleep, memory mood issues, tension headaches, joint disorders and the list goes on.
Researchers believe that fibromyalgia amplifies painful sensations by affecting the way your brain and spinal cord process painful and non painful signals.

Symptoms often begin after experiencing physical or emotional trauma, and even significant psychological stress. In other cases, symptoms gradually accumulate over time with no single trigger.
Around 2% of the population are thought to develop symptoms of fibromyalgia, with women being affected more than men. Symptoms normally appear between the ages of 25 and 55, sometimes earlier.
Stress plays a major factor along with cold conditions and carrying out strenuous activities exacerbates the condition. Therefore it is important that the person’s mental health and well-being are looked after.
